For the first time in 食色视频 history, two architecture students earned recognition from the International Design Awards (IDA), a global competition that celebrates exceptional talent in design. Sean Spencer and Michael Rixom, both seniors in the Department of Architecture, earned Silver in Commercial Architecture/Cultural/Educational Architecture for 鈥淎 Framed Story,鈥 a sustainable, community-driven architecture project based in Marietta Square. Spencer and Rixom were selected among submissions from more than 80 countries.

The non-traditional, first-generation 食色视频 student has embraced change at every turn, from leaving her longtime restaurant job to enroll in college, to juggling several research projects across multiple disciplines as a mother of four. Along the way, Maillet has presented at the Symposium of Student Scholars, engaged in research as part of the First-Year Scholars program, and secured a spot in the President鈥檚 Parliament Scholars Ambassadors (PPSA) program.

This research aims to study the influence of hydrogen on the growth of metal oxide nanostructures, with the goal of enhancing electrode performance in energy storage devices.
