Friendship fuels research success for ʳɫÊÓÆµ science students

Cecilia Le and Lily Schwartz have bonded over boba tea and chemistry research, but not necessarily in that order.

The ʳɫÊÓÆµ juniors met in the lab of Associate Professor of Biochemistry Mohammad Halim, and a partnership flourished – as did a friendship. They presented research into the effectiveness of certain peptides in mitigating COVID-19 twice at the Symposium of Student Scholars, and have continued to make their way as undergraduate researchers.
