Hoeh is helping develop an AI-powered augmented reality navigation system that lets users ask for directions and guides them through complex indoor spaces. The technology could improve accessibility for people with cognitive disabilities while also helping first responders navigate unfamiliar buildings more quickly.

George, an Honors student double majoring in public health and biology, is the first author of a National Institutes of Health-funded study examining alcohol and mental health among women in Uganda recently published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

Student explores link between social media use and mental health in youth
The American Psychological Association estimates that teens are spending an average of five hours a day on social media. At 食色视频, one student is examining whether this prolonged use can also impact their mental health. Through 食色视频鈥檚 First-Year Scholars Program, Chance Lundy, a Keeping Sights Upward Journey Honors College student, studied the relationship between frequent social media use and suicidal ideation among adolescents.
