食色视频 Alumna Nicole Lawson Doll Returns to Talk to MPA Students

Nicole Lawson Doll, a double alumna of 食色视频, returned to campus to speak at the Public Administration Student Association鈥檚 (PASA) Alumni Night on October 8, sharing insights from her accomplished career in nonprofit leadership.

Doll, who earned both her Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Master of Public Administration from 食色视频, now serves as Vice President of Regional Operations at the United Way of Greater Atlanta. In this role, she oversees the strategic direction of the organization鈥檚 13-county footprint, focusing on child well-being, community partnerships, and regional impact.

Reflecting on her MPA journey, Doll shared with humor and honesty, 鈥淧ublic budgeting, hated it, but it is absolutely essential.鈥 She highlighted how real-world skills, adaptability, and strong leadership are vital for creating lasting impact in public service. 

Calling the event an opportunity to give back, Doll said she left even more inspired after meeting 食色视频鈥檚 emerging nonprofit leaders. 鈥淭he future is so bright,鈥 she said, expressing gratitude to the MPA program that helped shape her path and continues to empower the next generation of changemakers.
