Important student deadlines to start Spring 2019 semester

Another semester officially kicks off next week as 食色视频 welcomes back students, faculty and staff on its two campuses. As Owl Nation gears up for Spring 2019, here are some important dates to keep in mind:

Classes:

  • Friday, Jan. 4 鈥� Final tuition and fees payment deadline
  • Monday, Jan. 7 鈥� First day of classes and beginning of add/drop period
  • Monday, Jan. 21 鈥� Martin Luther King Jr. Day/No classes

Financial Aid:

  • Sunday, Jan. 13 鈥� Last day to use financial aid credit at
  • Wednesday, Jan. 16 鈥� Financial aid is disbursed to to pay tuition and fees
  • Friday, Jan. 18 鈥� Refunds are made available (processed by Bursar鈥檚 Office)

Services:

  • The Bookstore will return to normal operations on Monday, Jan. 7. For information on bookstore hours during winter break, .
  • Regular shuttle service also returns on Jan. 7.

Scholarships:

  • The deadline for most scholarships is March 15. For more information on scholarships visit .

Mark your calendar:

  • Spring Break will take place April 1-5.
  • National Conference on Undergraduate Research 鈥� 食色视频 State will host more 4,000 student researchers from around the country at the 33rd annual NCUR. The event, held April 11-13, marks first time a university in Georgia has hosted the largest undergraduate research conference in the nation. Students who submitted abstracts for this year鈥檚 NCUR will receive a notification of decision on Monday, Jan. 28.

Other dates of note for NCUR are as follows:

  • Monday, Jan. 28 鈥� Online registration opens
  • Tuesday, Feb. 26 鈥� Deadline for early conference registration
  • Thursday, March 21 鈥� Deadline for late conference registration
