The First-Year Composition Program (FYC) is designed to help students develop essential writing and communication skills that will serve them throughout their academic journey and beyond. Through the courses English 1101 and 1102, students will learn to craft arguments, engage with various forms of writing, and improve critical reading and analytical skills.

CORE Impacts Curriculum
First-Year Composition (FYC) at 食色视频 prepares students for success in their academic programs and post-graduate careers by ensuring that each student meets or exceeds the learning outcomes in Area C (Communication in Writing), as established by the University System of Georgia鈥檚 (USG) . In this two-course sequence (ENGL 1101 and ENGL 1102), students learn the technical and analytical skills, practical methods and strategies, and cultural dimensions of effective written communication, including the critical thinking skills necessary to effectively adapt a message for different audiences.

- Students will communicate effectively in writing, demonstrating clear organization and structure, using appropriate grammar and writing conventions.
