SoTL at ʳɫÊÓÆµ
Definitions of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) can differ by discipline and continue to be refined within the field itself. For the purposes of our programming, ʳɫÊÓÆµ CETL defines SoTL as systematic and/or reflective inquiry into student learning and/or teaching in higher education which is situated in context and involves methodologically sound application of appropriate research methods, peer review, and distribution as scholarly work (Felten, 2013).
SoTL is featured in ʳɫÊÓÆµ's strategic plan, Goal 1.4.2: Become a leader in scholarship of teaching and learning.
