Adventure Academy offers engaging school-break camps led by our full-time museum education team. Through hands-on experiences rooted in history and the humanities, campers explore a wide range of topics that spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

2026 Adventure Academy Dates and Themes

Spring Break Camp

Join us for our 2026 Spring Break Camp with your favorite museum staff! 

Ages: K - 5th graders

Date: April 6 - 10

Theme: Adventures Around the World - Have fun and explore different climates, countries, and centuries. 

 

Summer Camp

Ages: Rising 1st - 5th graders

Dates and Themes: 

June 8 - 12: Around the World

  • Pack your bags! Campers will travel the globe exploring far-off places, ancient cultures, and exciting landscapes. From oceans to jungles to long-lost civilizations, each day is packed with hands-on activities, creative challenges, and big imagination. Perfect for curious adventurers ready to explore the world!

June 22 - 26: Mysteries of History 

  • History has secrets… and campers are on the case! From disappearing cities and legendary artifacts to spies and pirates, campers will crack codes, solve puzzles, and uncover the stories that shaped our world. This week is all about curiosity, problem-solving, and a little historical intrigue.

July 20-24: Theater Camp

  • Lights on, curtain up! Campers will dive into theater from around the world and across time, learning to act, collaborate, and tell stories on stage. The week wraps up with a student-led one-act performance, giving campers their moment to shine!

July 27 - 31: Time Travelers

  • Buckle up! Time travel awaits! Campers will journey from ancient civilizations to ye olde 1990s through crafts, costumes, music, games, and stories. Each day brings a new era to explore as campers discover how people lived, dressed, and had fun throughout history.

Additional Information

  • Lunch is not provided. Campers will need water, lunch, and a snack each day. If you are registered for after care, please bring a second snack. 
  • When signing your waivers, please initial if you do NOT want photos of your students. Some photos will be posted on our Instagram page for you to follow along & used for future marketing materials.
  • Our full-time museum education team plans and facilitates summer camps. Please note, that while during the school year we focus on Holocaust education, these themes will NOT be present during
