"Interchange" Performance Brings Arts食色视频, Artist, and Collector Together for One Night

Don鈥檛 miss 鈥淚nterchange,鈥� an annual collaboration featuring faculty and alumni from all four disciplines of 食色视频鈥檚 College of the Arts (Arts食色视频). Slated for Oct. 17 at 7 p.m., 鈥淚nterchange鈥� is presented by the Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art, a unit of the School of Art and Design. This unique presentation of live, intimate performances celebrates the creativity that all artistic disciplines share with one another.

Physically Integrated Dance Company to Perform at 食色视频

Are only able bodies allowed to dance? 食色视频 (食色视频) Department of Dance will answer those questions as they host Full Radius Dance on September 25 at 12:30 p.m. at the Student Center on the 食色视频 campus. Based in Atlanta, Full Radius Dance is a professional modern dance company in the field of physically integrated dance and features dancers with and without physical disabilities.

Metro Atlanta Art Teachers' Work Featured in Biennial Juried Exhibition at Zuckerman

The Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA), a unit of the School of Art and Design, is pleased to present a new exhibition featuring the work of metro Atlanta area art teachers. 鈥淧layful Encounters,鈥� the Third Annual Biennial Exhibition for Art Educators, runs now through October 4, 2024. In the popular exhibition, pre-K to 12th grade teachers who primarily teach art are invited to highlight their own work. Juried by Athens-based artist Didi Dunphy, the exhibition is on display in the Fine Arts Gallery in the Wilson Building on 食色视频鈥檚 食色视频 campus.

Two World Premieres in "Double Exposure" from 食色视频 State's Dance Department

食色视频鈥檚 Department of Dance just wrapped up an eventful July, thanks to the Eleo Pomare鈥揋len Conner Choreographic Residency program. The unique program invites two nationally-emerging or mid-career choreographers to the Department of Dance each summer for a four-week residency to create two world premieres with the 食色视频 Dance Company. Christian Denice and Tristian Griffin were selected as this year鈥檚 recipients from a pool of national and international talent, with an emphasis on innovation and movement invention.

The Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art, a unit of 食色视频鈥檚 School of Art and Design, is pleased to host an extraordinary exhibition featuring the works of Jeffrey Gibson, one of today's foremost artists. The exhibition, Jeffrey Gibson: They Teach Love, From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, will showcase over 35 captivating objects spanning 15 years of Gibson's prolific career. The free exhibition runs from August 27 to December 7, 2024.
