Encouraging Responsible Community Engagement

The Department of Student Volunteerism and Service (SVS) develops students as engaged, responsible citizens through reciprocal community engagement opportunities and cultivates inclusive, collaborative, and respectful relationships that transform student lives. 

Through programs like 食色视频 Day of Service, OwlsServe Days, Alternative Breaks, the Service Fellowship Program, and GivePulse, SVS fosters student leadership, civic responsibility, and long-lasting community partnerships.
