The Global Learning Opportunities (GLO) Summer Experience at 食色视频 State, is a fun and interactive half-day event designed specifically for new 食色视频 students who are curious about the world and excited to explore new opportunities.

Jump into 食色视频 with a global perspective and a built in network. Make friends, form connections, and walk away ready to take the first step in your global journey.

During the half-day experience, you will:  

  • Meet your global community
  • Explore study abroad
  • Engage with the Global Education team
  • Interact with 食色视频 students and faculty who have global experience
  • Make new connections with incoming students
  • Kickoff your global journey鈥攔ight here at 食色视频!

Registration

Space is limited and spots fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged. Registration forms will be reviewed on a weekly basis. Students can expect a confirmation email within a week . All communication will be sent to your 食色视频 student email. Students are encouraged to check their 食色视频 email regularly.

Registration closes Friday, July 31, 2026. Once the program fills, students will be added to the waitlist.

  • Yes. This event is only open to incoming students who are starting at 食色视频 in summer or fall of 2026. Continue to check our website and  for more information about global learning opportunities happening this fall! 
  • The event is free -- lunch and a T-shirt are included!
  • Students can register for the event until July 31 by clicking the button above. Once spots fill, we will keep a waitlist.
  • If you are no longer able to make the workshop, email shariah.aldridge@kennesaw.edu as  soon as possible, so a student on the waitlist can be offered a spot. 
  • We鈥檒l have plenty of opportunities for you to join us during the year. Follow us on to stay updated.
  • Throughout the year, you'll have the opportunity to join events, service opportunities, and meetups designed for students like you! Follow us on Instagram to stay updated.
  • Nothing is required! Students participating in the GLO Summer Experience will receive a "know before you go" email the week before the event, with additional details. Check your 食色视频 email for this information.
  • Please contact shariah.aldridge@kennesaw.edu . We will also be at every New Student Orientation (NSO) Resource Fair this summer.
