Notice of the Filing of an Application for Permanent Employment Certification

The following notices are posted as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for these job opportunities. These postings will remain in public view for a period of at least 10 consecutive business days and must be made no more than 180 and no less than 30 days prior to filing the permanent labor certification application.

 

Lecturer of Physics

Responsibilities: A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. Teaching calculus and non-calculus based introductory physics lectures, recitations, and laboratories. Service to the department, college or university related to instruction, pedagogy, and/or student success. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications: A Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to Physics or a closely related discipline, or a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in [physics]. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with current evidence-based instructional practices, such as active learning. Experience teaching online or hybrid courses. Record of past teaching at the undergraduate university level. Assistant Professor of Marketing and Professional Sales (multiple positions)

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including: Principles of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Professional Sales, Marketing Research, International Marketing, or Retail Marketing. Additionally, the department is adapting to the new educational and business environment. Creative and/or innovative courses are being considered. Service to the Department/College/University/Profession as determined by need and interest of the department. Scholarship/research expectations and activities are expected.  Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.   Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. or a DBA, or the foreign equivalent, in Marketing or a related field is required.
